What was going while they played?
They were great, they played awfully well, everybody loved them and still do... But why did John, Paul, George and Ringo play the way they did? Was their music affected by the events of the decades they were immersed in? Did they affect the way young people saw the world thus modifying the course of some events?
With my 6th grade students at Holy Mary of Northern Hills, we tried to analyze the unruly 60's and discover the secret combination for such a delicious music.
